Hey everyone!!! Today's post is a manicure I wore last week for a couple of days. I used two coats of OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons and then used Mash plate 47 to stamp the houndstooth pattern with China Glaze Surfin' for Boys. I really like the nude/ neon combo, although Surfin' for Boys didn't show up as bright as I had hoped. Check it out, hope you guys like it!

Hey everyone!!! I recently snagged an Essie polish from CVS that I am loving and wanted to share it with you. I got this polish for only $4.00! The Essie polishes are never on sale anywhere I shop besides at Ulta so I'm not sure if this polish rang up wrong at the register or what happened. But regardless, I'm really liking this color so far especially now for the colder months. Here it is, Essie Over the Edge.
This polish is a dark gray, almost black, gunmetal color. That's the best way I can describe it. The formula isn't the greatest, but most Essie polishes are hit or miss for me. It applies very thin so you have to use 3+ coats for it to be fully opaque. It's a great color to wear on it's own but I thought I would spice it up a little and added some glitter. I used Orly Tiara. This glitter polish is awesome and perfect for adding just a little bit of sparkle to your mani. It's not a pain to remove either like most glitters!
Hope you guys liked it, and let me know what you think!!!

Hey everyone!!! Today's post is another stamping manicure. I've been using my stamps a lot in hopes of mastering the technique. This one turned out great, except for my pinky finger. Here's a look at what I came up with.
So for this I used two coats of Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro polish in Steel Grey. This polish is AHHHH-MAAYY-ZIIING! I love it! The formula is very opaque and applies fantastic! The bottle says it lasts for up to 10 days, and although I've never kept it on that long, it does last a very long time without chipping. These Rimmel polishes last longer than some of my OPI and China Glaze polishes. You can get away with only one coat, but for this I used two just to be safe. Even though the color is Steel Grey, its more of a purple/ taupe-ish color. It's perfect for Winter and Fall. After the two coats dried I used BM plate 315 to stamp the paisley designs with Milani High Speed Fast Dry in Black Swift. This is my favorite black polish for stamping so far. I topped it all off with my Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat and voila!
Hope you all like it, let me know what you think!

Hey everyone!!! Today's post is another Halloween manicure, but this time I used my stamping plates! One of the designs came out really clear while the other two didn't but practice makes perfect right? Here we go!
I had so many fun images on my stamping plates but I narrowed it down to these three. For the pumpkins and the little devil, I used BM plate 305, and for the skulls, I used Mash plate 29. The BM plates are hard to use in my opinion, the image never comes out completely so I try to stick to my Mash and Cheeky plates.
The green on my index finger is the same green I used in my Frankenstein design, its China Glaze Starboard. I used OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine! on my pinky topped off with OPI Metallic 4 Life glitter. The white and black are both Milani High Speed Fast Dry.
Hope everyone likes this, let me know what you think!

Hey everyone, I have a few fun Halloween designs to show you!!!
This one was a simple design I did using a dotting tool. I used Wet N Wild Wild Shine in Sunny Side Up and just a creamy black.
I really like this manicure and it was super easy! I used a creamy purple from Revlon that has no name. I've had this polish for so long Im not sure if it's even available anymore. For the spiders I used Sally Hansen's Pedal to the Metal and Mash plate 38.
This manicure is my favorite so far! Mummies!!!! I painted my nails two coats of China Glaze Kalahari Kiss. Then I used a striping brush to make the "wraps" around the nail using Essie's Yogaga, OPI's Wooden Shoe like to Know? and a creamy white. I used two different sized dotting tools to make the eyes.
These Halloween nails have been so much fun and I'm looking forward to doing more!!

Hey everyone!!! So this is my first attempt at some fun Halloween nails. I went with my Mom to a scrapbooking store and saw the coolest halloween cards and was totally inspired to try free handing Frankenstein nails. They didn't come out as good as I had wanted but I tried!! Here they are....
I polished my entire nail two coats of China Glaze Starboard and then used a white and red polish for the eyes and teeth. For the mouth and hair, I used Sally Hansen's Nail Art Pen in Black. I needed to have made the teeth much smaller but oh well. I thought this was a cute idea for this Halloween!
Let me know what you think!

Hey everyone!!! Today I have a quick post showing you a mani I wore last week. It's just simple leopard nail art over China Glaze's I'm not Lion. Hope you enjoy!
This is 2 coats of I'm not Lion by itself, no top coat.
To draw the leopard design, I just used a small dotting tool and Maybelline's Black Onyx. Let me know what you think!!

Hey everyone!!! I recently got some new dotting tools, striping tape AND new polishes so I figured I put them all to use in one mani! Here's what I came up with, hope you like it!
I used Essie's Mojito Madness as the base color, Maybelline Express Finish in Black Onyx for the tips and Cover Girl's White Night for the dots. The striping tape is a holographic silver color.
This was a lot of fun to create and super easy to do! Let me know what you think!

Hey everyone!!! Today I have my first jelly sandwich to show you while I'm on my lunch break. I've tried this technique many times before but this is the first time it's come out post worthy!
For this mani I used two layers of Essie's Turquoise and Caicos, two layers of Milani's Gems, one more coat of T&C and topped it off with Essie's Matte About You. The glitters are showing through in the pictures a lot more than they do in person. Hope you like!!

Hey everyone!!! Today I'm showing you a mani I did using my dotting tools to make some cute flowers. You can use any size dotting tool to make the flowers how big or small you want them. Hope you enjoy!
For this I used Zoya's Gilda as the base color. It's a super bright pink with tons of shimmer in it. Then I used Cover Girl's White Night for the flowers. I wanted to do a yellow dot in the middle but the yellow I have isn't opaque enough so I used Zoya's Lara instead. I used a medium sized dotting tool to make the petal and then just used a toothpick to drag the petals to the middle. I topped it of with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Anti-Chip top coat.
I think this is super cute especially now for summer time! Let me know what you think!

Hey everyone, I have another quick lunch break post for you. I recently picked up Good as Gold from Essie's Metallics collection and WOW!!! This is gorgeous!! I'm not a big fan of metallics but this one made me want to run out and buy the other ones in this collection. Here's a few quick pics!
I used two coats of Essie's Good as Gold and then topped it off with two coats of Amused Silver Moon. Silver Moon ispacked with tiny gold micro glitter and long gold bar glitters. This was a perfect accent to the Good as Gold.
I love this metallic and will definitely be purchasing some of the others from this collection. Does anyone else have colors from the Metallics collection?? Let me know what you think!

Hey everyone!!! I have a quick post for you while I'm on my lunch break. I saw something similar to this on Pinterest a while back and finally got around to trying it out on myself. These colors are super bright and funky and reminded me of colors you'd see at a carnival for some reason! This was a super fun mani and I'm really happy with how it turned out!
For this manicure I used NYC in Sidwalkers as the gray base color and Zoya's Lara for the pink, with Sally Hansen's Parrot for the green. I just cut pieces and strips of normal Scotch Tape to create the designs.
Let me know what you guys think!

Hey everyone, double post today!!! My mom and I purchased some new polishes this weekend and I wanted to share the mani I created on her with one of the newbies we got! My mom likes bright flashy pinks so I wasn't surprised when she picked Zoya's Alegra. It's a beautiful pink with lots of shimmer. She wanted something different than her norm and decided on Alegra with a black french tip. Here's how it came out!
Sorry for the rough looking cell phone pics
I really like how it turned out and I think she did too! What do you think?
Hey everyone! So I got some new polishes this weekend in a deal at Ulta and my favorite so far is Essie's Lapis of Luxury. It's a fun blue color that went on great! I needed two coats of for full opacity and I love it! Here is a quick pic!
Currently Ulta is offering buy 2 get 1 free on some of their nail polishes. It includes, Essie, OPI, Zoya, China Glaze and Piggy Polish. I also had a coupon for $3.50 off a $10 purchase so I think I got a good deal! Does anyone else own Lapis of Luxury? What do you think? And has anyone else taken advantage of the nail polish deal at Ulta?

Hey everyone!!! I love the leopard print look and decided to try it out myself. I started with one accent nail and loved it but I didn't trust myself enough to do all ten fingers so I just did my two ring fingers! Practice makes perfect though so I might give it a shot later tonight, although I don't think they will turn out post worthy, especially my right hand. My left hand is always so shaky, I'll need to work on that hahaha. Well here are some pictures of what I did!
This picture was taken in sunlight and the glare kind of washes out the color. It's more of a bright pink/ fushia color.
This polish went on great and you could probably get away with only one coat but I used two coats for the picture.
I waited over an hour before I added my top coat and it still smeared the black :(
For this look I used Sally Hansen Hard As Nails as a base coat and two coats of Sinful Colors in Folly. For the accent nail I used NYC in Taxi Yellow and Maybelline Express Finish in Onyx Rush. I used a small dotting tool and a small nail brush I got from Sally's to create the prints.
I really liked this and had lots of fun. This is definitely something I'm going to be practicing a lot! Let me know what you think!

Hey everyone!!! Today's post is my spin on galaxy nails. I've been wanting to try this for a long time and finally sat down to give it a shot. This is such an easy and fun nail look to recreate, I had a blast doing this! All you need is some nail polish and a make up sponge! Enjoy the pictures!
For the base color I used Sephora by OPI in Absinthe Makes the Heart. It's a dark greenish color with TONS of micro glitter/ shimmer. I don't even know how to describe it correctly, but it's awesome! I thought this would be a good alternative to the normal black that people have used since there's so much shimmer in it. I think it gives the base a lot more dimension and helps blend the colors that are sponged on. It also dries surprisingly fast which is also great!
Polishes I Used:
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails as Base Coat
Sephora by OPI Absinthe Makes the Heart
China Glaze Sea Spray
Essie Sexy Divide
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Pedal to the Metal
Cover Girl Disco Dazzle
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat
I really enjoyed doing this mani and will definitely try this out again. Let me know what you think! Anyone else love galaxy nails?? Thanks for reading!!

Hey everyone!!! Today's post is inspired by a You Tube guru MissJenFABULOUS. You can visit her blog as well, www.polishandpearls.com. This is a truly simple nail look using a sandwich baggie! That's right people, a sandwich baggie! All you need is 3 polishes of your choice and a small sandwich bag. I tried using plastic wrap instead but it didn't work out as well so I advise sticking with the baggie. Here are some photos I took, hope you like!
I tried to get a good close up but my camera wasn't cooperating and this is the best I got.
This last picture was taken about a month ago when I first tried this method. :/ Not so hot huh?
Polishes I Used:
Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails as base coat
Cover Girl Boundless Color in White Night
Essie Muchi Muchi
China Glaze Sea Spray
Sally Hansen Instra-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat
I really like this look and will definitely be trying this more with different color combos. Let me know what you think!

Hey everyone!!! I recently went to Target and picked up a few polishes so I figured I'd share what I got. I swatched them all when I got home and here are the pictures I took. Hope you like!
This one is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in the color Parrot. This is one of my favorites I got during this haul. It's a creamy lime green color that's perfect for summer time. This went on great as well, no streaking and only needed 1 coat!
This one is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in the color Marine Scene. This on went on a little sheer and streaky and it took me 3 coats for it to look like this. It's a nice turquoise color though.
This one is my favorite I got! Its Sonia Kashuk nail color in Fatigued. It's a dark army green. This will be great for the fall. This went on smoothly and only 1 coat was needed as well.
This is Essie's Lilacism. I loved this color in the bottle and loved it even more when I applied it. It's a gorgeous light pastel purple. The only down fall is that like most Essie polishes, it took 3 coats for it to be completely opaque.
Next is another Essie polish, Muchi Muchi. This is a nice baby pink. I think its a great color but I'm not so sure I like it on my skin tone. This one also needed 3 coats.
Last is my FAVORITE!!! This is Essie's Ole Caliente. This is from their summer collection I believe. I love love loooooove this color. Its not too red and not too orange, it's the perfect combo. This one went on great, 2 coats was perfect. I added a bit of glitter to my ring finger but I like it better without.
So this was my little haul, hope you enjoyed it! Let me know what you think. Do you love Ole Caliente as much as I do???
